My Birthday Haul

June was my birthday month on the 28th day to be exact ;) why not spoil myself with a makeup haul ey? Some of these products were purchased by myself, my boyfriend and I received a $100 gift card to spend at Lipstick Republic online by my close friend. I will state which of these products were bought by who underneath the headings, these are one of my favourite things to watch on youtube because I'm noisy like that, enjoy!

Lipstick Republic
I received a $100 gift voucher from my long time friend Linda (which btw she is a makeup artist ;) please follow her on Instagram (@beautybylindamai) she gifted to me for my birthday and Linda if you're reading this Thank You from the bottom of my heart :D. I was over the moon when she gave me this gift, I was at work so I couldnt help myself to check what products they offered online - wwww.lipstickrepublic.com.au. They stocked Nude Stix, Jeffree Star, Sigma and more, unfortunately most of the products I wanted was out of stock :( I could of waited for them to be back on stock but knowing me I could not wait lol I got what I wanted with the ones they had.

I purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powders as they were having a sale I got the shades in Ebony and Dark Brown, they had it on sale for $30 each originally $38. Then I got the Shadow Shields $12.95 for a pack of 20, I bought this so I can use them when I get ready to go clubbing as the eyeshadows tend to fall off onto my under eyes, it can get a bit messy. Lastly I got the Sigma Beauty palette in Warm Neutral  $49, I used to see people rave about their palettes on Youtube but that was 4-5 years ago so I'd like to do a review soon on this palette.

The green tea mint on the top right Lipstick Republic gave it to me for free to trial, I don't tend to drink tea but I might give this tea a go and see how it goes ;)

Chanel
I saw these limited edition powders all over Instagram with the girls from the US, I bought the Healthy Glow Multi Colour Powders both in Mariniere No.1 and No.2. I also purchased the Illumnating powder, I can not wait to try these products which I will bring with me when I go to Sydney in December :)

Mecca Maxima
My boyfriend and I wanted to spend my birthday doing some shopping, which girl doesn't? I stopped by the Mecca store  (which I do everytime I am in Highpoint it's always a must!). I picked up the Too Faced - The Little Book Of Bronzers as I have seen it in the US and was dying to get my hands on it once it arrives in Australia, surprisingly I didn't see much rave about it on YouTube from the American girls whereas when the book hit Australia I've seen heaps of Aussie girls post it on Instagram I am very happy I got this :). Secondly I got Too Faced's new palette in Nautral Eyes the all matte shades, I was never into the original nor was I into there other similar packaging i.e. Sugar Pop, Boudoir Eyes, Rock N' Roll etc.

There was a reason why I went to Mecca that day, as I had recently received an email from Mecca saying because I was a Beauty Loop Member Level 3 and it was my birthday I can receive a birthday gift from them so of course I had to take that opportunity to see what the gift was, now unfortunately they ran out of the birthday gifts instore :( instead the girl said I could choose any of their nail polish range, which was fair enough at least it was something better than nothing right? As you know the nail polish I ended up choosing was Timandra as I always have to pick up a pink colour. I have tried it on my nails and it is Ah-maze-zing! Two coats and it was very opaque just like the OPI nail polishes, I wouldn't mind picking up a nude colour next.

Kate Hill
The reason why we went to Highpoint in the first place was because my boyfriend asked me if I wanted anything for my birthday and I had this item in mind as I need a big wallet to take with me when we go to Sydney in December for a 5 day trip. I needed something that will fit the tickets and my maps as I have planned for 5 days to do sightseeing and to do tourist things as we have never seen Sydney before plus I will be carrying mostly cash for my spending money. This was originally  $58 but I got it on sale for $49.

Tarte Cosmetics
I purchased this product from an Aussie girl on instagram (please follow this lovely girl @beautywithangelaa) who was selling makeup palettes and I used to see Tarte Cosmetics on myqty.com I was going to buy it then, but then all of a sudden they stopped stocking Tarte :( Sepohra opened in Sydney at the beginning of last December and let me tell you Sydney ladies out there YOU ARE ONE LUCKY PEOPLE! & I HAVE MAJOR JEALOUSLY ISSUES! :'( to have Sepohra over there as they do not have an online store yet, I've heard on youtube they were opening up a store in Melbourne but not sure when will that be.

Angela was very sweet and was very informative, she kept me on the loop about my product. For all Melbourian ladies out there if you find it difficult to find makeup products you can trust on Angela but bare in mind she doesn't always sell products only when she steps into Sepohra or if they have in stock :) I was very I mean super happy to receive this product as I opened it, I had that look in my eyes like I was a kid on Christmas day opening presents. I'm glad to get this palette as these shades are all matte but I haven't seen any makeup tutorials on youtube, well the ones I follow do one. I have recently asked if Angela has the Kat Von D Shade Light Contour palette so I am waiting on that, I know you are probably asking why not wait till I go to Sydney? I'm just worried the products will be discontinued and nothing is worse than having that regretful feeling you should of purchased that product :/ plus when I get to Sydney they will have the Christmas collection out so I will be ready for that.
