I purchased this from my local Terry White Chemist as I've mentioned in my May Makeup Haul (please see that post for more info) to be honest I bought this on impluse lol I literally have screenshots on my phone as to what I should buy next.
For application I shook the bottle up very well, I dispensed it on the back of my hand and dabbed dots around my face applying with my fingers and blending it out with my hands. When I poured it on the back of my hand it was watery, the colour I purchased was no.20 which looked light compared to my hand but when blended to my face it was alright, as with all my foundations I always set my face with powder and for this I used the Makeup Forever Pro Finish powder.
When it was dispersed and applied to my face, as with all Chanel makeup they had a rosey smell and I loved it! For those who are sensitive to fragrances, don't worry the scent will not linger for the entire day. From the moment I applied the foundation to wearing it at work for the whole day it was a total of 11 hours I had the product on my face. When I checked back when I got home it didnt leave my face feeling oily even though I usually get oily during lunch time but with this foundation it had minimal oiliness.
It is a light coverage foundation that can be built to a medium coverage, it made my face feeling lightweight as though I wasn't wearing heavy makeup. My final thoughts it is best for everyday use foundation because of its lightweightness but on the other hand this is a high end foundation because of the cost I am too chicken to wear it everyday as the price of it makes me cringe.
If I was to go for a light coverage foundation I would best go with drugstore because of the price tag, with most of my face makeup I'd prefer full coverage. Not worth the splurge for that amount I'd say.
